Metered Parking Areas

New Parking Meters

The new parking meters will no longer print tickets which were required to be displayed on your vehicle. Paid parking sessions are linked to your vehicles registration and can be paid either by credit card at all meter or by coin at select meters only (a minimum of one coin payment meter will be available in all metered areas).

The Park’nPay app may continue to be used as an alternate payment option.

Some benefits of Pay by Plate meters

  • It’s paperless – digital receipts can be sent to you.
  • There’s no need to return to your vehicle to display your ticket.
  • It integrates with the NSW Government’s Park’nPay app, with both meters and the App recording payment to the vehicle registration number.

How do I use the new parking meter?

Paying for your parking is a simple 4 step process.

1.    Start by tapping the screen.
2.    Enter your vehicle registration plate number.
3.    Choose the length of your stay.
4.    Pay and go.

All of Council’s on-street and off-street ticket parking areas allow payment to be made via credit card, coins or Park’nPay app.

If one of the payment options isn’t working, please make sure you use an alternative method to avoid a fine.
