Wangal Park Toilet Wrap
Burwood Council has commissioned emerging Inner West based artist Tahlia Kate Henderson to develop an artwork for the Wangal Park toilet block, inspired by native flora and fauna from the wetlands, Tahlia is also a previous Burwood Art Prize entrant!
"My practice is centered around spending time in the bushlands that remains in and around suburban Sydney. Its really important that I actively visit and explore places I paint. The research I undertake for each painting, helps identify plants, animals and insects observed - most importantly the Traditional Custodians and Traditional names of the land I am inspired by and work from." - Tahlia Henderson.
