Unity Place Community Day

The recent 'Name the Lane' community competition has resulted in Hornsey Lane Burwood being renamed as Unity Place. 

To celebrate, Unity Place will host a day/night community event featuring interactive light installations, outdoor library activities, roaming entertainment, live music, a  take home momento and a night market of food trucks.

 The light installations will be on site from 6 April to 20 April to 'light up the place'

  • 12.00pm - 2.00pm: Library kids programs; Invent a Throwing Arm with LittleBits! & Paint like Jackson Pollock with Sphero
  • 12.00pm: Outdoor LED Screen showing digital art and videos (all day)
  • 1.00pm - 3.00pm: Mad Hatter story teller roaming on site
  • 3.00pm - 7.00pm: Amazing Jono entertainer
  • 3.00pm - 7.00pm: Flipbook Photo Booth
  • 4.00pm - 8.00pm: Sousaphonics roaming band on site
  • 5.00pm - 9.30pm:  Aussie Night Markets in carpark
