Burwood Comes Alive With Music - Irie Man featuring Pat Powell + Madi
Reggae, funk and alternative pop by local artists will feature in the next Burwood Comes Alive with Music livestream on Friday, 31 July.
The double bill will kick off with IrieMan featuring Pat Powell, followed by alternative pop singer songwriter Madi G.
Pat is a Croydon Park local who loves walking along the Cooks River, enjoying parks and nature when he isn’t recording, acting or supporting acts including the Eurythmics and Crowded House.
His career spans four decades during which he has perfomed around the world and amassed a repertoire ranging from ska to blues, hip-hop to soul and R’n’B to reggae.
Burwood teenager Madi G is a singer/songwriter who already has several singles to her name and an upcoming EP in the works.
Writing from the age of 10 and performing for live audiences since she was eight, Madi is a seasoned performer who’s first single, “Poison” has had more than 2000 Spotify streams.
