Since 1993, Burwood Council and the Sandakan Community Educational Committee have proudly hosted the Sandakan Remembrance Service to remember more than 2,400 servicemen who tragically died at Sandakan and Ranau in Borneo at the end of World War II, 23 of which coming from our Burwood community.

Please join us for our annual Sandakan Remembrance Service in Burwood Park on Sunday 4 August at 10:00am.
