To enter our book pack competition, collect your entry form with your Summer Reading booklet from Thursday 28 November and enter it at the Library desk. The book pack will include a selection of “treerific” books suitable for 5-12 year olds.

The challenge will run from Thursday 28 November, 2024 to Thursday 30 January, 2025.

Burwood Library Sumer Reading Club Book Pack Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. The Summer Reading Club Book Pack competition closes Thursday 30 January 2025 at 4pm. Only entries received by this date and time will be valid.

2. Entry is open to children, 5-12 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent before entering the competition. Entries must include name of entrant, contact number of parent/guardian and age of entrant.

3. One entry per child.

4. By submitting an entry into this competition, entrants warrant that they have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If the entrant is under the age of 18 years, each entrant’s consenting parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring their familiarity with these terms and conditions at the time of participation. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions

5. The winners will be decided Friday 31 January 2025 and will be notified via phone.

6. The winning decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. The Book Prize must be collected within 14 working days after the winning announcement has been made.

8. By entering this competition you give permission for Burwood Library to share your entry, name and photo of winning entrant on Burwood Library’s/Council’s social media channels.

9. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable or exchangeable for cash.

10. All entries become property of the Promoter. Entries may be published on the Library’s website. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen, or misdirected prizes.

11. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. If an entrant does not accept the Terms and Conditions, they will be ineligible to receive a prize.

12. Employees or family members of Burwood Council may not enter the competition.

13. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.

14. If Burwood Library is unable to contact the winner, then the prize will be awarded to another valid entrant.
