Seniors Creative Club: Painting Our Street Library (Ages 55+)

Seniors are invited to Unity Place to paint and decorate the new street library being installedat Wangal Park. The workshop will be lead by an artist facilitator and we will be welcoming your ideas on what we should paint or draw on the library. No painting experience is necessary, we’ll work together to create something great!

What’s a Street Library?

Street Libraries are a small home for books, protected from the weather, installed in a public place such as a street or park. Everyone in the community is free to take a or leave a book. It’s a great way to share the joys of reading!

  • The workshop will be held in Unity Place adjcent to Burwood Library.
  • Enjoy provided morning tea and engage with other creative members of the community
  • Be guided by an experienced facilitator to come up with ideas and drawings for our street library
