Experiment and create with our STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art and math) collection.
Our kits have been carefully chosen to inspire curiosity and learning in a fun, hands-on way aimed at primary school aged children.
Borrowing
Adult Library members can borrow 1 kit from the collection for 3 weeks.

STREAM Kits Circulation guidelines
- Kits must be checked out by an adult cardholder (18 years or older).
- Only one (1) Kit per family may be checked out at a time.
- Kits may be borrowed for a period of three (3) weeks.
- Kits are not able to be renewed
- Children using the Kits must be within the prescribed age range and adult supervision is required. Parents/carers are advised to choose kits that suit their child’s developmental, educational, and interest levels. Please be advised that kits may contain chocking hazards.
- The loaned Kit is to be returned to Library staff who will check the kit
- The Library cardholder is responsible for the contents of the Kit. Each Kit contains a detailed list of all items along with the replacement cost of the Kit.
- In the event any piece(s) missing, the borrower will be charged accordingly, if the piece(s) are not replaced.
- If parts are not available and a new Kit has to be purchased, the borrower will be charged the full replacement cost of the Kit as listed on the Parts Sheet included with each Kit.
- The borrower will be given a copy of the Library’s STREAM Kits Circulation Guidelines upon checking out a Kit.
- If the borrower fails to abide by any of the terms in the Library’s STREAM Kits Circulation Policy, the borrower may forfeit the privilege to borrow Kits in the future.
- By borrowing the Kits, the borrower is agreeing to the terms of the Library’s STREAM Kits Circulation Guidelines.
